Qbert and Mix Master Mike reunite onstage for Justin Bua’s new book

September 23, 2011

It has been over ten years since Mix Master Mike and Qbert last shared the stage together, but from what we understand, there will be a day when we should see these two masters of turntablism perform together once again. Actually, just kidding, we won’t have to wait long—the Invisibl Skratch Picklz frontmen, once called Dream Team USA when they paired together for the DMC World Championships, will headline a special book release party November 10, 2011 at the Independent in San Francisco celebrating the release of Justin Bua’s new book, The Legends of Hip Hop, Bua’s ode to the fifty most memorable figures in hip-hop history. Celebrated fine arts painter Bua, whose work you most likely have seen before, will also provide accompanying visuals for the show. Tickets are now available to the general public at TicketFly. See the flyer after the jump.
